Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Revit, BIM360, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing mechanical building systems, such as mechanical (HVAC), piping, plumbing, and utilities
• Proficient in comprehending and creating designs and schematics
• Exceptional technical writing, verbal communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively

Preferred Skills

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MSME)
• A Professional Engineering (PE) license (issued by state)
• NCEES Council Record complete
• Certification as a LEED AP Building Design & Construction (BD+C)
• Certification as a Green Roof Professional
• Certification as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Analyst (CEA)
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certification as a Commissioning Authority (CxA) or Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP)
