Role Overview
As a member of our team, you will:
Develop Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Technology, and Fire Protection (MEPTF) construction drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional facilities.
Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to support plan review and permitting.
Contribute to renewable energy integration, green roofs, and living wall systems.
Support LEED documentation and sustainability initiatives.
Implement innovative solutions that improve environmental performance and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Develop coordinated 2D and 3D BIM models to produce mechanical system drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
Prepare project documentation and perform drawing review and markups using Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
Perform clash detection and coordination to resolve conflicts between building systems and support 4D/5D BIM project planning.
Conduct HVAC load calculations and energy modeling to support high-performance building design and energy code compliance.
Prepare construction cost estimates, project schedules, and material takeoffs using industry tools and databases.
Support construction administration and project coordination through platforms such as Procore.
Apply engineering principles including psychrometrics, refrigeration, acoustics, and building controls.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and standards, including ASHRAE, ICC, NFPA, CALGreen, and California Title 24.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.
Experience preparing construction drawings and specifications for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage tasks and meet project deadlines.

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME)
Proficiency in Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE 3D Plus, EnergyPro, and ACCA Manuals J, N, S, and D
Professional Engineer (PE) license and NCEES Council Record
LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C)
Green Roof Professional (GRP)
Certified Green Building Professional (CGBP)
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Analyst (CEA)
Commissioning Authority (CxA) or Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
